Philip Caplan - The Principal

I commenced training in a major City firm in 1977 but having qualified decided that I didn’t want to deal with large organisations. I joined a small sole practitioner in 1981 becoming a partner in 1985.  The practice grew to five partners and in 2003 I decided to sell my interest, which arose at a time of major domestic upheaval including the divorce courts!

In 2005 I commenced providing consultancy services for other practices but decided in 2007 to start a new practice hence Caplan Associates!

Aside from building the practice I am involved as a Trustee in a number of Charities and have trained as a crisis counsellor.
